Jim Hartigan joined IDT in May 2012 as Sr. Project Manager after working on special projects as an independent consultant. Today, Jim is accountable for many facets of IDT’s Professional Services Delivery Team department, which include Project Management, Strategic Planning and Quality Assurance. He is responsible for ensuring that IDT’s Professional Services Delivery Team have the necessary tools and training to perform at an exceptional level internally and externally for our customers and valued partners.
With a technical and project management background, Jim came to IDT with extensive mortgage banking and financial services experience. With a keen sense of business acumen, Jim has the ability to rapidly identify functional areas in which Business Process Automation can be appropriately applied – bringing forth both operational efficiencies and organizational cost savings to our customers. Jim’s real world experience consists of understanding complex Global Financial Service Operations, Workflow/Business Process Management (BPM), Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Data and Document Capture, Document Retention and developing and documenting Standard Operating Procedures. Prior to joining IDT, Jim was employed at a Global 2000 Financial Services organization, managing one of the largest corporate Document Conversion/Imaging/BPM/ECM initiatives in the world.
Jim has over 20 years of experience in Operations and Project Management. Additional strengths include Data and Document Capture, Retention and Management, Workflow and Process Design, Change Management, Business Case Development and IT Functional Requirements and Documentation. Jim has managed single and multiple, high-visibility projects. He has extensive project management experience and can easily adapt to a preferred management framework that might be employed by the customer, and is comfortable managing projects with the Microsoft Sure Step and Microsoft Project Platforms.
Jim is certified and trained in number of areas included but not limited to: Six Sigma Green Belt, Project Management (PMP), Microsoft Project, EMC Captiva, ITIL, Business Analysis/Analytics, CAPSYS CAPTURE and IBM FileNet.
